St. Luke's provides a strictly confidential service to the very needy and impoverished. A committee oversees the use of a special "Apsley Fund" to help the unfortunate in desperate need; e.g. a family needing medical assistance, a child needing therapy or other needs, etc. The Apsley Fund can also be used for outreach occasions such as Sunday School picnics and other similar type expenditures. The funds are limited, of course, but there are funds available each year.

We also have the Rector's Discretionary Account, whose funds are in the sole control of the Rector.
